Oooooh I seem to have neglected my cakey blog... sorry!

Retro sweetie cuppies, these cakes are a big hit with older children/teenagers (and grown ups!)

Banana and chocolate cupcakes, I use much less added sugar, but the caramel icing made up for that. These are just as gorgeous (and slightly healthier!) without the caramel

Somewhere Over The Rainbow cupcakes.

Classic vanilla cupcakes, perfect in gift boxes for Mother's Day

Cherry Bakewell Cupcakes- delicious!

delicious cakes, with various flavoured sponges, and icings. all using natural ingredients,

Retro sweetie cupcakes, strictly for adults, these yummy cakes are topped with a vanilla vodka icing. DELICIOUS!

Delicate pink cupcakes, perfect for celebrating a new arrival, but versatile enough for wedding cakes, gifts or birthday cakes.

And so the journey begins...

Hello, and welcome to BumbleBerry Cupcakes... named after my son Jay, who is 6 and my daughter Holly who is 4. Jay's nickname is Bug, and Holly's nickname is Berry.

Hold on, I hear you say, that isn't the name of this blog... Oh yeah, well, BerryBug was to be the name of my fledgling business, so I had a little google about and discovered Berrybugs were, in fact, nasty little critters and would probably put people off wanting to buy my cakes. So keeping in theme with Jay's name (Bug) I chose Bumble as in bumblebee, and stuck it at the beginning of Holly's nickname. et Voila! BumbleBerry was born. :)

I make cupcakes, to order to any specifications. Current projects and experiments include dairy free cupcakes and fat free, preferably wheat free  cupcakes.

As I have just started business is slow, but I have a couple of orders in the coming months, one being my future God-son's christening, where I am making a white and blue cupcake tower. I am looking forward to this order, it is the biggest so far and will be a great challenge!

I like to experiment with flavours and work with natural ingredients, and I only use free range eggs. If you require me to use only organic and/or Fairtrade products I can do so at your request. All colouring and flavouring is 100% natural and free from artificial ingredients UNLESS stated in descriptions.
